With reference to the reply to question 4 of 18 June 2021:
Why were the Gatesville rental units omitted from this reply?
Answer Body:
The Gatesville rental units were omitted from the previous response as it does not form part of the Departmental Provincial Rental Turnaround Strategy as a decision was taken to sell the units to the tenants. The Department appointed a project management team to prepare the units for sale on a sectional title basis and it is envisaged that tenants will be signing offer to purchases later in 2022 and transfers are planned for 2023. The current rental agreements will remain in place until transfer takes place.
