With reference to an unresolved complaint against the SAPS, whether he can provide an update on case number 101/08/2020?

The South African Police Services informed me as follows:
6. The complainant was interviewed by Provincial detectives on the 2nd of October 2020. The complainant indicated that he never laid a complaint in terms of the investigation of Steenberg CAS 101/08/2020 (housebreaking and theft). The complainant is however aware that positive fingerprints were found on the scene although he has not received feedback from LCRC regarding the possible identity of the suspect.
Information regarding this is currently being followed up by the Steenberg SAPS detectives.
