- (a) What are the (i) granted number and (ii) actual number of (aa) South African Police Service Act personnel and (bb) Public Service Act personnel at the Mitchells Plain Police Station and (b) how many vacancies are there currently;
- (a) how many holding cells are there at the Mitchells Plain Police Station and (b) what is (i) the current condition of the holding cells and (ii) the holding capacity of each cell?

It should be noted that the Department of Community Safety conducted an in loco inspection of the Mitchells Plain SAPS during May 2018 and it was found that the station has 1 holding cell and 10 detention cells with each cell having a capacity of 10 people per cell. 7 of the 10 cells were allocated for men, 1 for females and 2 for juveniles.
