With reference to the reply to question 7 of 22 January 2021:
- How much of this budget has been spent on the upgrading of these townships and?
- what type of infrastructure development has taken place?

- The actual expenditure for the maintenance of the drainage systems and road infrastructure for the period 2014 to 2020 is set out in Annexures A to G, attached to this written reply. The current financial reporting format used by municipalities is prescribed by National Treasury and does not provide the breakdown of the actual expenditure per town or sub-town level.
- The actual expenditure referred to in (a) was spent on stormwater pipes, channels, manholes, inlet and outlet structures, road surfaces, layerworks, and kerbing.
