With reference to the investigation into the murder of school principal Zameka Mfubesi that occurred on 18 September 2020 in Grabouw:
(a) What is the current status of the investigation and (b) whether a suspect has been arrested; if so, when will the case proceed to court?
Answer Body:
The reply of the South African Police Service (SAPS):
4. (a) The investigation has been finalised and the case is currently in court.
(b) The suspect, Sizwe Bebula was arrested and charged. The case has been remanded to 2nd of February 2022. The suspect remains in custody.
