(a) (i) Chief Education Specialist: Governance and Examination (Specialist Advisor)
(ii) An appropriate 3-year education qualification in line with PAM. Preference will be given for applicants in possession of a Master’s degree. 5 years’ experience in school management preferably as a Principal and 4 years teaching experience. Valid Driver’s licence.

- Proven experience in examination and assessment matters on a systemic level and high-level governance matters as it relates to the education sector.
Duties:
Provide advice on Assessment and Examination Management matters:
- Assessment Management matters
- Interpretation of Assessment and Examination outcomes
Provide advice on Collaboration School matters:
- Management of Collaboration partners
- Advocacy and forging new partnerships and investors
Provide advice on School Evaluation Reports:
- Advise on the executive oversight and departmental responsibilities relating to the SEA Reports
Provide advice on integration of Technical Skills in Education:
- Advise on the positioning of Technical Education
(iii) 1 year contract
(iv) Salary: The post is a part time position with 5/8ths of the salary level PL6. It requires advice 25 hours per week.
(b) (i) The post was advertised on 7 April 2021 and closed on 12 April 2021.

(c) Interviews took place on 17 May 2021. A successful nominee from the interview process was selected and subsequently appointed on 30 May 2021. Appointment start date was 1 June 2021.
