d] All the facilities are implemented with the PHCIS system that give them the ability to capture Patient Demographics [PMI], an Appointment System and all the facilities are using the Electronic Headcount functionality.

Of these facilities, 6 facilities are scanning in data using the Electronic RMR [Routine Monthly Report].

The new queuing system, eReception Module, was a piloted at Ruyterwacht CHC. The aim of the initiative is to allow the patient to scan themselves in without the need to go to reception, but when scanned will send a message to reception to draw the patient folder.  The queuing system is linked to a screen in the waiting room informing the patient of where they are in the queue to receive service. Thereby improving the patient experience. Elsies River & Delft CHCs will be implemented with  eReception Module going forward.

All facilities [except Scottsdene] has JAC Pharmacy System installed to manage and dispense medication electronically providing a view of medicines dispensed to patients at any hospital in the area or other facility improving quality of care.

Ceftriaxone 250 mg injection: Company to dispatch part order expected 16 July by CMD

Cefixime tablets 400mg: Shartage to be managed as per attached Circular H48/2014 and Ceftriaxone recommended as replacement. However shortage experienced with Ceftriaxone injections as well
