Answer Body:
- The Department is responsible for 57 residential properties (927 tenants).
- The projected income for these properties is approximately R473,958.00 per month.
- There is no specific annual maintenance budget for residential properties. All maintenance work is prioritised according to the Facility Condition Assessments, which are conducted on an ongoing basis.
- Sixty (60) legal cases for non-payment of residential properties (leases) are on record for the 2014/15 financial year.
