- How many (i) MINMEC meetings were scheduled and (ii) did he attend since his appointment to the Provincial Cabinet up to the latest date for which information is available and (b) for each meeting not attended what were the reasons?

- (i) 42 (35 in Education and 7 in DTPW)
(ii) 41(35 in Education and 6 in DTPW)
- Western Cape Parliamentary duties and a very late change to the date of the MINMEC meeting
