2012/2013 - 130 reservists were appointed
2013/2014 - 29 reservists were appointed
2014/2015 - 28 reservists were appointed
2015/2016 - 9 reservists were appointed
2016/2017 - 4 reservists were appointed
2017/2018 - 15 reservists were appointed
[b] As per National Instruction 3/2014 any person who works as a security officer or for a security company may not be part of the SA Reservist Police force. Once it is found that a reservist member works for a private Security Company his or her service is terminated with immediate effect.
