[1](a) Why was the South African Police Service satellite station at Masiphumelele removed and (b) when can the community expect to have it returned or replaced;

[2] whether the South African Police Service station at Ocean View, a temporary structure, will be renovated or replaced; if not; why not; if so, what are the relevant details?

Answer Body: 

The South African Police Service informed me as follows:

(1)(a)  The mobile CSC was removed as a result of mechanical defect. As an interim arrangement, a manned mobile VOC has been temporally allocated at Masiphumelele to ensure continuous service delivery.

(b)  The vehicle is expected to be released from Maitland Garage on 30 June 2016 where after it will be deployed at Masiphumelele.

[2] Ocean View SAPS is not currently on any priority list for replacement, nor renovation.
