From re-election to the Western Cape legislature in 2014 to date:

(1) (a) How many official trips or delegations related to the legislature or departmental business has he gone on, (b) where did the delegations go, (c) for what purpose, (d) how long was the trips in days, (e) what was the mode of transportation used, (f) how many officials accompanied him on these trips, including their (i) names, (ii) positions and (iii) departments, and (g) what meetings were (i) scheduled and (ii) held on each of these trips;
(2) whether any of these trips took place over multiple days; if so, what are the names name of the hotels or establishments where accommodation was booked;
(3) whether follow-up meetings were required for any of the trips that required overnight stays; if so, how long did the follow-up meetings take in days?

Discussions and various meetings with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, Ministers in the Bavarian Government responsible for European Affairs and Regional Relations, Environmental Affairs and Consumer Protection as well as the Regional Government of Schwaben in Augsburg. The meetings would focus on Local Government Finances, Monitoring and Support of Municipalities and Decentralising of provincial government services and cooperation with local government as well as the renewal and utilization of rivers.

            September 2015 France

Discussions and meetings with the French Development Agency, SYCTOM the Metropolitan Agency for household waste, SEMARDEL who specialize in waste collection, storage and sorting of waste. These discussions were to obtain practical experience regarding the different types of Waste to Energy options available.

            September 2015 Switzerland

Discussions and meetings on invitation of MT Consulting and Engineering GMBH who facilitated visits to incineration plants, bio digestion of waste plants. It further included discussions on minimizing landfill sites and ground water contamination.
