Whether all schools have received the necessary textbooks and educational material needed for the new academic year; if not, (a) how many schools have not received this material and (b) what are the names of these schools?
Answer Body:
All public schools were requested to plan their textbook needs for 2020 and were afforded the opportunity to order textbooks online during May/June 2019. 1 479 schools participated in the online ordering process and 499 580 textbooks were ordered to top up the textbooks currently used in schools. All the ordered textbooks were procured and delivered to schools by 31 October 2019 for use in 2020.
