WHAT’S ON

The week of 26 to 30 October 2020 is a constituency week, meaning that, apart from the members of the Standing Committee on Health conducting unannounced oversight visits to health facilities in the West Coast District, Members will be working in their various constituencies.

 

The National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will conduct oversight visits to institutions in the Western Cape during the week. Click here to view the programme.

MONDAY, 26 OCTOBER

WEDNESDAY, 28 OCTOBER

 

09:00 - 16:00: The Standing Committee on Health will conduct unannounced oversight visits to health facilities in the West Coast district. The aim of the visits is to assess COVID-19 safety protocols and the services rendered by the health facilities.

09:00  - 12:00 : As part of its oversight function, the Standing Committee on Local Government will conduct an oversight visit to Kannaland Municipality to look at various projects such as the Thusong Centre in Ladismith and the boreholes which were drilled to provide water security. The committee will thereafter join the NCOP on their Provincial Visit Week.

 

THURSDAY, 29 OCTOBER

 

09:00 - 16:00: The Standing Committee on Health will continue to conduct unannounced oversight visits to health facilities in the West Coast district. The aim of the visits is to assess COVID-19 safety protocols and the services rendered by the health facilities.

 

FRIDAY, 30 OCTOBER

 

Members will be working in their constituencies.
