(2) (a) what was the average number of twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containers (i) loaded and (ii) unloaded and (b) what were the targets;
(3) what were the targets for the average container dwell times for (a) imports and (b) exports;
(4) (a) what was the average call size of ships using the port and (b) what was the target?
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism is not in possession of all of the data requested. Please see 'Annexure A’ with the information that the department does have for 2023. Please note that there are some data gaps, where data was not available.
It is suggested that the remaining information be requested from the relevant organisation, Transnet.
