Public Participation
The specific objectives of WCPP’s public participation efforts are to:
- impart knowledge about democracy and how the WCPP contributes to deliver it;
- generate more interest in participating in the lawmaking processes;
- improve the community’s ability to identify opportunities for participation (ie to identify problems, weaknesses of laws, policy or implementation etc); and
- improve the community’s ability to formulate input into the process by facilitating legislative education programmes and participation in the public hearings of the standing committees.
