- (a) What was the outcome of the court case between him, the Theewaterskloof Municipality, the Municipal Manager and a certain person whose name has been furnished to his Department for the purpose of his reply and (b) what did the respondents agree to in the settlement;
- whether the Theewaterskloof Council was made aware of the settlement; if so, can a full copy of the settlement agreement be made available?
3(1)(a) An agreement between the parties was made an order of Court on 5 March 2024, whereby the decision of Theewaterskloof Municipal Council on 27 July 2023 to appoint the Municipal Manager was held to be unlawful and set aside.
31)(b) The terms and conditions of the settlement is set out in the attached Court Order granted on 5 March 2024.
3(2) It was alleged by the 3rd Respondent in his capacity as Municipal Manager, that Council resolved that the matter be defended on behalf of Theewaterskloof Municipality. Attached a copy of the settlement which was made an Order of Court.
