What progress has been made with case number (a) 14/7/2019 at the Laingsburg Police Station and (b) 571/07/2019 at the Lentegeur Police Station?
Answer Body:
The South African Police Service informed me as follow:
13. (a) The docket was initially submitted to the SPP for a decision and nolle prosecuted. Subsequent to a complaint, the case was reopened and submitted with additional video footage to the SPP. A decision is awaited.
(b) A warning statement has been taken from the suspect. The case is still under investigation as additional statements and post mortem reports are being awaited.
