Whether there are any planned upgrades or new buildings contemplated for the (a) Kirstenhof, (b) Ocean View and (c) Muizenberg police stations; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
The South African Police Service informed me as follows:
(a) Kirstenhof SAPS is a leased property. The Department of Public Works is currently negotiating with the landlord in terms of repairs.
(b) Ocean View SAPS is on the User Asset Management Plan (UAMP) for planned maintenance.
(c) A repair and renovation finding has been requested by Department of Public Works to address critical issues at Muizenberg SAPS cells.
