When is the expected transfer date of the Grebe and Pienaar streets provincial housing units and title deeds in the Drakenstein Municipality?
Answer Body:
Approval for the subdivision of both Grebe and Pienaar Streets into individual plots have been granted by the municipality subject to the demolition and removal of the unlawful backyard structures.
The unlawful structures are mostly inhabited by extended family members of the tenants. Although the tenants have been informed that the subdivision and ultimate transfer of units cannot occur without the removal of the unlawful structures, the structures have not been removed.
