- How many Prasa and Metrorail train (i) stations and (ii) carriages are there in the Western Cape currently, (b) how many of these train stations and carriages in the Western Cape are (i) operational and (ii) non-operational, (c) what is the total number of kilometre of rail currently not in use in the province, (d) how many kilometre of rail are not in use in the province due to vandalism and theft and (e) how many kilometre of rail cannot be accessed in the province due to the illegal occupation of land?
- (i) There are 128 stations on the Metrorail Western Cape Network.
(ii) There were 88 trainsets.
