Social Worker Addition

The Department has been allocated R59,715 million over the 2020 MTEF; to sustain the employment of social workers, particularly in areas with a high prevalence of gender-based violence, substance abuse and issues affecting children.

      21 on contract from 1 December until 31 March 2020.  Currently busy with the recruitment and selection process to appoint 30 permanently as per the budget allocation.
