        (b) The provincial Department of Transport and Public Works is responsible for all proclaimed provincial roads in the Kannaland municipal area. This network consists of 5 Trunk Road sections, 9 Main   Roads, 34 Divisional Roads and 92 Minor Roads with a combined total length of 1044 km. The Municipality is responsible for proclaimed municipal main roads and all municipal streets. The municipal main   roads in Kannaland are as follows. In Ladismith: Main Road 31 (440m), Main Road 365 (680m) and Main Road 366 (270m). In Calitzdorp: Main Road 31 (1650m) and Main Road 361 (800m). In total there are therefore 3,84 km of proclaimed municipal main roads in Kannaland.
