Answer Body:
(a) The total cost of the upgrade of the R60 road and bridge through Ashton, Cogman’s Kloof and Montagu is R877 595 329.
(b) The contract was initially awarded to Basil Read.
(c) The total approved cost of the new bridge in Ashton is R 174 006 774.
(d) R126 288 417 of this budget has been spent thus far.
