Whether any of the buildings and land promised by Patricia de Lille, national Minister of Public Works, as shelters for the victims of gender-based violence have been handed over; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
An agreement on the availability of the buildings to be provided by the National Department of Public Works for the purpose of shelters for victims of violence has been drafted and is in the process of being finalised between the Provincial Department of Transport and Public Works and the National Department of Public Works. During this time, the buildings have been renovated and prepared for this purpose by the National Department of Public Works.
