With regard to the announcement in SOPA of 2021 that the provincial government would lobby the national Department of Home Affairs to develop and roll out a remote working visa:
- Whether the Western Cape Government has engaged with the national Minister concerning this initiative; if so, (a) what has been the suggestion by the provincial government and (b) what are the relevant details in the proposal;
- whether the national Minister replied to provincial government’s suggestion; if so, what are the relevant details?
