(a) How many vaccinations can the Province administer per day at all the vaccination sites in the private and public sector and (b) how does this compare with the supply received from the national Department of Health?
Answer Body:
- The Department has the capacity to administer 50 000 vaccinations per day across both public and private sector.
- The vaccine supply is currently stable with 2 437 240 vaccine doses received up to 8 September and based on the provincial vaccine cascade of 9 September there were 622,510 remaining at facilities.
