With regard to rapes in Mitchells Plain/Lentegeur precinct since March 2020:
How many (a) rapes have been reported in the Mitchells Plain/Lentegeur precinct, (b) suspects have been (i) arrested for rape and (ii) charged with rape in the area, (c) suspects are (i) awaiting trial and (ii) on trial, and (d) suspects have been convicted of rape?

The South African Police Service informed me as follows:
1. (a) 131 (Mitchells Plain and Lentegeur police stations). The totals provided are based on the crime statistics released by the Minister of Police for the period 1 March to 31 December 2020.
