With reference to the increased number of violent attacks on women and children:
Whether the number of female beneficiaries can be measured across all the programmes in her Department; if so, (a) how many of the Department’s beneficiaries are women and (b) how are beneficiaries’ experience of departmental programmes monitored to ensure a thorough impact assessment?
Answer Body:
- At least 80% of the Departments beneficiaries are women and within the Victim Empowerment Programme it is 98%.
- Beneficiaries are randomly selected to provide inputs during the departments quality assurance monitoring process at NGOs.
