With regard to his Department’s Annual Report that reported that R11 997 000 was spent on “Consultants: Business and advisory services”:
(a) What is the detailed breakdown of his Department’s expenditure on consultants in (i) 2014/15, (ii) 2015/16, (iii) 2016/17, (iv) 2017/18, (v) 2018/19, (vi) 2019/20 and (vii) 2020/21, (b) what are the details of the businesses or individuals who rendered these consultancy, business and advisory services, (c) what is the total amount that was paid to each and (d) what are the details of the services rendered for each payment?
The above parliamentary has reference. For the financial year 2019/20, R11 997 000 was the Final Appropriation whilst R11 516 000 was the Actual Expenditure on Consultants: Business and advisory services.
Detailed breakdown of expenditure on consultants for the respective financial years as indicated in the above question, the detail of each business/company, the details of the services rendered, and the amount paid to each business/company are outlined in tables 1 to 7 below:
