Whether he can provide a detailed list of all the companies that received contracts from his Department, including the value of the contracts, in (a) 2009, (b) 2010, (c) 2011, (d) 2012, (e) 2013, (f) 2014, (g) 2015, (h) 2016, (i) 2017, (j) 2018, (k) 2019, (l) 2020 and (m) 2021 to date; if so, what are the relevant details?
(a-e) The department did not enter into contracts with service providers directly. Municipalities entered into contractual agreements with service providers. Though the grant allocation transfer payments were made to Municipalities.
(f-m) Annexed herewith as “F” to “K” are copies of the Audited information with regards to expenditure as contained in the various Annual Reports and lists of companies and contractors who benefited in various projects. It should be noted that information with regards to the 2020/21 is still being consolidated as the Financial Year ended recently.
