Cultural Affairs and Sport
With respect to the additional amounts of R800 000 and R600 000 provided to the Saldanha Bay and Langeberg municipalities for the improvement of the Robertson Sports Ground and the Ronnie Louw Sports Field in the run-up to the Netball World Cup:
- What are the upgrades that will be expected to be done at these two facilities;
- whether there are any other municipalities that will benefit from the Legacy Project; if so, (a) which municipalities and (b) how will they benefit?
The Ronnie Louw Sport Field in Saldanha Bay Municipality will have the following upgrades done:
- Flood Lighting
- Resurfacing of courts
The Robertson Sport Ground in the Langeberg Municipality will be undergoing the following upgrades:
- Resurfacing of courts
7 (2) whether there are any other municipalities that will benefit from the Legacy Project; if so, (a) which municipalities and (b) how will they benefit?
- Swartland Municipality
- Matzikama Municipality
- Stellenbosch Municipality
- Drakenstein Municipality
- Langeberg Municipality
- Overstrand Municipality
- George Municipality
- Bergrivier Municipality
- Swellendam Municipality
- Mossel Bay Municipality
- Prince Albert Municipality
Municipalities that will benefit from the Provincial Treasury earmarked allocation for Netball as well as DCAS Equitable Share funding for the 2020/21 financial year is as follows:
- Laingsburg Municipality
- Hessequa Municipality
- Knysna Municipality
- Swellendam Municipality
- Cape Agulhas Municipality
- Funding has been allocated for the establishment, upgrading or refurbishment of Netball Courts in lieu of the Netball World Cup 2023.

Die Robertson Sportterrein in die Langeberg-munisipaliteit gaan die volgende opgraderings ondergaan:
a) Vernuwing van netbalbane
- of enige ander munisipaliteite by hierdie Nalatenskapprojek sal baat; so ja, (a) watter munisipaliteite en (b) hoe hulle daarby sal baat?
a) Munisipaliteite wat voordeel sal trek uit die Provinsiale Tesourie wat geoormerk is vir Netbal, sowel as DKES-finansiering vir die 2021/22-boekjaar:
