Whether his Department has engaged with the Department of Health to consider the establishment of pop-up vaccination sites near areas with high traffic volumes; if so, what are the relevant details?

2. The Department of Health is leading the Western Cape Government’s response to COVID-19 which includes the determination of venues for the setting up of vaccination sites. The Department of Transport and Public Works provides logistical support to the Department of Health in terms of securing these venues situated within communities for ease of access in pursuit of maximum impact in terms of vaccinations from institutions such as municipalities.
