With regard to the funds handed over to the Laingsburg Municipality on 19 October 2021:
(a) What amount was provided, (b) what was the purpose of the funding and (c) what amount has been spent to date?

(a) What amount was provided,
An amount of R717,350 was transferred to the municipality in October 2020.
(b) what was the purpose of the funding and
The purpose of the funds was for the refurbishment and upgrade of the sports field, (Rugby/Soccer field), netball courts, and athletic tracks including a new irrigation system at the JJ Ellis Sport Ground
(c) what amount has been spent to date?
The municipality confirmed that the full amount of R717,350 was spent.
