With reference to cases of burglary and vandalism reported to the South African Police Service (SAPS) by Western Cape schools in the 2020/21 financial year:
- How many such cases were reported, (b) of the cases in (a), how many were closed as “undetected” and (c) what does “undetected” mean?

(c) A case must be as “undetected” whenever the investigation of a case has failed to disclose the perpetrator and it is furthermore clear that the offences was actually committed.
