With regard to the total cost of the Western Cape Government’s Broadband Roll-out Programme over the two phases:

1. (a) What is the total amount spent on the roll-out from inception to date, (b)(i) what is the detailed expenditure items and cost per unit, (ii) what is the total spending on broadband infrastructure from the inception of the project to date, (iii) what are the details of the ownership of this infrastructure, (c) what amount has been approved in the budget for the current financial year and (d) what is the (i) breakdown of the cost of the infrastructure and (ii) the cost of the data charged by the vendor;
2. (a)(i) what are the details of the amount spent on government buildings or offices or schools, including as a percentage of the total spent on the roll-out, and (ii) what is the cost of the data charges paid to the vendor and (b)(i) what are the details of the total amount spent on stand-alone sites, including as a percentage of the total spent on the roll-out, and (ii) what is the cost of the data charges paid to the vendor?
