With regard to weighbridges:
Whether an investment in more weighbridges on routes currently not covered by such weighbridges would be financially justifiable to the Province in terms of the damage caused to surfaced roads by overladen vehicles; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
No, the current weighbridges are strategically placed to make overload law enforcement possible on most of the provincial and national road network
