  1. (i) What is the number of learners who were placed at schools on the 15th school day in the province and (ii) how many were unplaced and (b)(i) what is the number of learners who have not been placed at the Murray High School and (ii) what are the reasons therefor?
Answer Body: 
  1. (a)    (i)      Placed on 8th February 2022:

Grade 1: 112 034

Grade 8: 100 920

(ii)     Unplaced on 8th February 2022:

          Grade 1: 211

Grade 8: 933

(b)    165 learners who had originally applied at Murray HS through the WCED

         application process are currently not attending the school. These learners

         are all registered at other schools and are thus not unplaced.
