What have been the (a) number and (b) percentage of unemployed people in these communities in (i) 2014, (ii) 2015, (iii) 2016, (iv) 2017, (v) 2018, (vi) 2019, (vii) 2020, (viii) 2021 and (ix) 2022 to date?
The information requested by the member is not publicly available as Statistics South Africa (StatsSA) does not conduct annual surveys in sufficient detail to determine economic trends on a community level.
Thus, census data provided by StatsSA is the only source. The most recent census was conducted in 2011. From this database the following information can be extracted in relation to those specified precincts which are in the Western Cape:
