With reference to the Beaufort West Municipality:

[1]  Whether there is an approved organogram for the municipality; if not, why not; if so; what are the relevant details, including the approved organogram;

REPLY:

 

1. The Municipality has an organogram which was approved by Council on 01 August 2018.  The approved organogram makes provision for 541 permanent positions of which 6 are Section 57 positions. As at 1 July 2019, a total of 421 positions are filled and 120 positions are vacant.

In the 2019/20 financial year, the Municipality budgeted to fill 53 positions.  A copy of the organogram has been attached as Annexure “A”.

2. What are the [a] names, [b] task levels [T-levels] and [c] total cost of employment [TCoE] of all persons from task level 8 [T8];

REPLY:

[2]a      The Municipality declined to provide the names of the incumbents on Task level 8 as they deem this information to be confidential.

3. b   From T8 to T17, the breakdown of the T-levels are as follows:

4. The Total Salary Bill per month of all municipal staff members amounts to                

R7 403 018.87.

5. [a] What is the total overtime bill for August 2018 to June 2019, [b] what are the names of the municipal officials who claimed overtime, [c] what are their designations and [d] what was the overtime cost per month;
