[a] What is the composition of the provincial Aids Council, (b)(i) who are its members and (ii) what organisation do they represent, (c)(i) what is the number and (ii) what are the details of the meetings they have had between 2019 and 2022, (d)(i) how many of these meetings did he attend and (ii) what are the reasons thereof, (e) what are the details of the chairpersons of the provincial Aids Council and (f)(i) who is representing his government in it and (ii) what is the position that this person holds in his government?
(a) Members of the Provincial Council on AIDS are representatives of government, civil society and business.
(b)(i)(ii) Please refer to the attached membership list.
PLEASE NOTE: Civil society members do not represent individual organisations. They are elected to represent the sectors as identified by the South African National AIDS Council, although they have affiliations to organisations.

(d)(i)(ii) Premier Winde has chaired all meetings (except for the meeting held on 12 November 2021) since assuming the role of Chairperson on 21 November 2019.
(e) See attached membership list – Premier Alan Winde is the chairperson the Provincial Council on AIDS and TB and co-chairs all meetings along with the Civil Society Forum chairperson (Prof Harry Hausler).
