Regarding the current vacancy of the Casidra Chief Executive Officer position:
(a) What are the reasons for the current vacancy, (b) what (i) are the timelines and (ii) is the progress to date in the filling of this vacancy, (c) what is the estimated date for the filling of this vacancy and (d) what are the interim arrangements regarding the leadership position of Casidra?
(a) Mr. Stuart Symington resigned with effect from 1 March 2022 as he moved to the United Kingdom.
(b) (i) Mr Symington’s last day of employment was on the 28th of February 2022.
(ii) The Casidra Board started with the recruitment process in December 2021 by appointing an Executive Recruitment Company through a fair and transparent tender process. Advertisement commenced in January 2022 and the various phases in the recruitment process commenced thereafter.
The recruitment process is now in the finalisation stages.
(c) The estimated date for the filling of the post is 1 June 2022.
(d) The Board appointed Mr. David Nefdt as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Casidra, on the 1st of March 2022, whilst the recruitment process is in progress. Mr Nefdt fulfils the role of Chief Officer Projects in Casidra. He will be supported by the rest of the Executive and Management team for the duration of his acting role.
