Whether her Department has any partnerships with the provincial Department of Social Development and the Department of Community Safety to address substance abuse in the province; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
Answer Body:
There are no joint projects but our Department is part of the Western Cape Substance Abuse Forum. The forum is led by the Department of Social Development and is attended by all relevant government departments including Community Safety. Meetings take place quarterly with one of the priorities of the forum is to develop a Provincial Drug Master Plan
