(1) What is the (a) number of advisers that he has in his office, (b) what are their qualifications, (c) what are their salaries and (d) what is the total cost of the advisers;

(2) whether a certain person, whose name has been furnished to his Department for the purpose of his reply, has started in the role of being an adviser to the Premier; if so, what is he going to advise him on;

(3) whether a series of social-media posts by this person that contradicts his government’s standpoint on many issues, including the Russia–Ukraine conflict, have been brought to his attention; if so, (a) what are the relevant details and (b) what engagements have they had regarding the conflict?

(3)       (a) I am aware of the person in question’s social media post regarding Russia’s illegal   invasion of the Ukraine. My position on the conflict has not changed, I continue to believe that this unprovoked, illegal war, which threatens world peace and the very foundation of the liberal international order and once again urge President Cyril Ramaphosa and Minister Naledi Pandor to meet with Ukraine’s Ambassador to South Africa as soon as possible to hear firsthand the horror of President Putin’s war.
