With reference to his reply to question 2 of 28 January 2022:

(1) Whether the decision to centralise all infrastructure components in a single department and to create a single department for urban mobility (as announced in his 2022 State of the Province Address) was informed by the “refresh initiative”; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details;

(2) on what date was tender DOTP LTD 003-2021/22 awarded to a certain company, whose name has been furnished to his Department for the purpose of his reply;

(3) in terms of which relevant supply chain management prescripts did his Department proceed with the limited bid to appoint this company;

(4) what are the details of the recommendations made by this company to the Western Cape Government to date regarding the institutional refresh and the reorganisation of Western Cape Government departments;

(5) (a) what is the value of tender DOTP LTD 003-2021/22, (b) how much has been paid to date to a certain company, whose name has been furnished to his Department for the purpose of his reply, (b) when does the contract for this tender terminate, (c) what deliverables remain outstanding for this tender and (d) on what date did this company commence work on the Premier’s institutional refresh initiative pursuant to this tender;

(6) whether this company began conducting interviews with senior officials for the purposes of the Premier’s institutional refresh initiative prior to the date referred to in (5)(d); if so, why;

(7) (a) what projects are still to be undertaken but have not yet commenced as part of the Premier’s institutional refresh initiative and (b) what are the (i) time frames and (ii) estimated costs for these projects?
