(a)   The Department has, with each of the death of a police officer in the line of duty, offered a reward of up to R100 000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of such attacks on our police, metro law enforcement and traffic officers. The department furthermore through its oversight mandate and in partnership with Community Police Forums continuously monitor and report on service delivery issues that may affect the safety of police such as low staffing numbers and safety reports from communities.

(b) and (c)    Already implemented at all 150 police stations in the  Western Cape.
