(a) From which (i) community gardens, (ii) emerging farmers and (iii) local food gardens in the Western Cape have vegetables for food parcels been purchased in the last financial year and (b) what was the value in each case?
Answer Body:
(a) The Department of Social Development in the Western Cape is not involved in the distribution of food parcels to beneficiaries and therefore did not purchase any vegetables for the financial year 2013/14
(b) No funds were spent
