Whether his Department has any plans to provide for farmworkers once they have retired from having worked on farms since childhood; if not, why not; if so [a] what are the relevant details and [b] how will it be implemented?
Answer Body:
No, the Department has not made such provision as it is beyond its mandate. Such agreements are normally reached between employer and employees, and the Department of Labour can further advise.
