Whether his Department spent any amount on private security firms during the past three financial years; if so, for each (a) what is the name of the firm, (b) where, (c) for what purpose and (d) at what price were the services of the firm utilised?
Answer Body:
Comwezie Security and All 4 Security.
(b) Within the metropole i.e.: Sanddrift, Delft, De Waal Drive, Goodwood, Eerste
River, Sea Point and Plumstead.
(c) They are being utilised to prevent vacant units from being vandalized and
occupied by illegal perpetrators while maintenance teams prepare the units for
new tenants.
(d) See the attached as annexure A.
