Whether there is a vacant post cluster commander for the Caledon cluster; if so, (a) how long has this position been vacant and (b) when will it be filled?
Answer Body:
The South African Police Services informed me as follows:
Yes.
(a) The previous Cluster Commander: Caledon resigned on 2014-08-31. The Provincial Head of Inspectorate was appointed to oversee the cluster in the absence of a Cluster Commander.
(b) An officer has been transferred to the post and will take up the post shortly
